Individual design

Do you want to create your own design pen or personalize a model from our catalogue?

Leave a request on our website. You will be contacted by a personal manager who will control the entire production process – from creating a sketch to receiving your order.

Lead time minimum 1,5 months.

  • Design

It all starts with creating a sketch. A personal manager specifies your wishes: materials, size, weight, stones, budget, description of images and emotional response that a fountain pen should evoke. Then requests in form of design specification are conveyed to the designers and on the results of their work, the Client is offered a variety of several design options. The selected sketch is undergoing the final revision with consideration to the wishes of the Client.

  • Materials and techniques

The approved sketch goes to the production manager, who will advise you on all potential materials and execution techniques of the fountain pen. Parts of the pen body can be made of metals, minerals, mammoth bone or rare wood species. The choice of execution techniques is practically unlimited and depends only on the wishes of the Customer. Our team of jewelers works with engraving and carving on various materials (metal, stone, bone, wood), hot enamel and miniature painting on enamel, as well as other handcraft techniques.

  • Stones

A professional gemologist will tell you about stones and will assist you in selecting one or more stones according to the request. Our gemologists have vast experience in working on the largest markets in Hong Kong and Belgium, where colored semi-precious stones from all over the world, in particular from India and Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, Madagascar and a number of African countries, are delivered.

  • The jeweler’s work

The approved sketch goes to a 3D designer who, together with the chief technologist, creates a model for casting moulds. The cast body, junction elements made of precious metals and selected stones are handed over to the jeweler for the final incarnation of the designer’s plan.

  • Choice of accessories

Our line includes a wide range of accessories for fountain pens. A personal manager will advise you on all varieties of accessories available, as well as on colour and personalisation options.

  • The nib

The final touch is the selection and adjustment of the fountain pen’s writing mechanism. The master will guide you through the types of nibs and filling systems, and then will manually adjust the nib that you have selected. As a result, you will receive a test sheet with samples of lines and symbols made with this particular writing instrument.
